Great place! This house was perfect for our small group of 2 families! great location and very reasonably priced. plenty of space, stuff for the kids to do down stairs, and quiet area for them to ride their bikes, or go for a jog. My only suggestion would be: mark on a map (and if it was there sorry, it wasn't prominent enough)where there are acceptable dumpster locations. We spent a lot of time trying to find them and learned that the golf course "is not part of the territory" :) Thanks so much!!!

Pleased Overall, we had a really nice stay at 13 Highridge Run. The only thing we noticed was the main bathroom door does not latch. This house worked out really well for our family. Thanks!

13 Highridge Run The stay was OK. All the beds were very hard or had an indention in the matress(Twin beds). The TV in the living area is way to small for that size room. It was very difficult to hear the sound and when we turned on the surround sound it had such a bad echo it sounded worse. The day we were leaving there was a drip from the sky window at the bottom of the stairs on the first floor. We could never see where it was coming from but felt it drip onto us. Having to take our trash to the dumpster was not convient for any renters, it was not on the way out of the complex. Having only one seated living area with the television in it was inconvenient for anyone who wanted to go to sleep because every bedroom except the one down stairs was open to the living room and you could hear the TV since it had to be up so loud to even make out what was being said. We have been coming up to Galena for 5 years and will continue but I would not rent this place again.

Quiet Retreat The home was plenty roomy for 7 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time in Galena so we didn't use the game room; but it was nice to have it just in case.
We had some issues with water pressure in the showers and keeping the temperature consistant while using 2 showers at the same time.
The trash disposal was a hassle. Per instructions at the house; you can leave your trash there but need to put $5 per bag out on the counter, or you can dispose of it yourself. There was no instruction on where to find the dumpsters. So we had to go to the administration office and she provided a map. It took about 20 minutes to drive from the house to the admin office then to the dumpster. Not exactly convenient.
One bedroom had a very dusty air vent (we had a dust sensitive guest with us). The fireplace had two crispy bat carcasses in it, that was a little surprising to find.
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. It was quiet and peaceful and a great place to come back to after a long day of shopping.
